Oaks Melbourne on William Suites

Love the location as it’s close to flagstaff free tram zone and metro connect to main line Southern Cross. Walkable to Victoria market, restaurants and Melbourne central. Room offer a good size.

Oaks Melbourne on William Suites exceeded my expectations during our first visit to Melbourne. We originally booked the Studio Apartment with Balcony and thought it was just okay. We were allowed early check-in and was given an accessible room. Though it was spacious, the room had a very cold and sterile feel to the it. The balcony also faced building rooftops... Not very pleasant to look at for the 8 nights we were staying. The next morning, we asked to move into a Studio Apartment with Park View & Balcony. Wow, what a difference! We were on a higher floor and had a balcony that overlooked the Flagstaff Gardens. It was nice to have meals out there, watch the sunset, and just people watch. Having access to a full kitchen was great for a longer stay. We cooked full meals several times and had no issues. There was plenty of space for two people and luggages. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also modern and spacious. The housekeeping staff were always kind when we asked to top up our supplies and get turndown service. It was nice to have paid access to washers and dryers. There were plenty of machines and Oaks provided laundry detergent too. The gym was mostly cardio machines. Wifi was fast. Plenty of channels on the TV. The location was convenient. It's down the street from QVM and public transport options are right out the doorstep. Overall, Oaks Melbourne on Williams Suites provided us with an amazing experience in the city. I'd stay here again.

The breakfast was actually pretty good, had a breakfast at Raddison, more selection there but quality missing, laundry was great, great view, staff were very accommodating on late check out

Accommodation Upgrade: We appreciated the complimentary upgrade to a suite with a spectacular view overlooking Flagstaff Gardens. The natural light and greenery added a peaceful atmosphere to our stay in the heart of the city. Excellent Location: The hotel is perfectly situated across from Flagstaff Gardens and just steps from the City Circle Tram and Flagstaff Station, making it easy to explore Melbourne’s CBD and beyond.

Pleasant, spacious studio on level 14. Views over Flagstaff gardens. The décor and room colours now a little dated, however overall, well maintained property, comfortable, and clean. Good pillows, comfortable bed good linen. Full kitchen, large fridge. Walk in shower, large square shower rose. Hand basin and cabinet small with a shelf above, limited countertop space. Visited Melbourne by rail from a country location and arrived at the hotel earlier than normal check in time, appreciated that we were able to check in earlier . Reception staff welcoming and helpful.
